This privacy policy governs your use of the mobile application Knutsen ETA/ETD (“Application”) that was created by MarineApps. The Application provides public ETA/ETD and port information for Knutsen OAS vessels.

1. What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information:
The Application does not require user registration and does not collect any personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or location.

Automatically Collected Information:
The Application may collect limited device information necessary for Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to function, such as an anonymous device token. This token is stored in Firebase Realtime Database solely to deliver push notifications when subscribed by the user. No personal identity or device metadata is stored.

2. Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

No data is shared with third parties. Firebase services are used only internally for push notifications. All transmitted data is encrypted using HTTPS, and tokens are anonymous.

3. What are my opt-out rights?

You may choose not to receive push notifications by toggling off subscriptions inside the app. You may also uninstall the application at any time.

4. Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

The Application does not retain personal information. Device tokens for push notifications are stored only as long as they are actively subscribed, and may be removed at any time through user action.

5. Children

This Application does not target children under the age of 13. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

6. Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. No sensitive data is stored or transmitted. All communication with Firebase services is secured using HTTPS and authenticated tokens.

7. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. If any material changes are made, the updated policy will be posted at this address. You are advised to consult this policy regularly for any changes.
