In the pursuit of increased productivity, are we inadvertently compromising the very safety protocols designed to protect workers? How can we ensure that the push for efficiency does not overshadow the importance of adhering to established safety practices in high-risk environments?

Yes, in the drive for productivity, safety protocols are often sidelined — intentionally or not. This puts workers at risk, especially in high-risk industries. To prevent this, companies must embed safety into productivity metrics, empower workers to pause unsafe work without penalty, and reward safe behavior as much as fast results. Efficiency should include safety, not compete with it.  8)
